It is in very good condition with the original finish and no chips or cracks. For your consideration is this very nice original Winchester model 74 22LR rifle stock. I also like the looks of a lot of the skinner sights.Winchester Model 74 Factory Original 22 LR Caliber Rifle Stock Very Nice Cond. ).īeen looking at XS sights, but havn't heard from anyone that has them on a win94. Some windage adjustment would be great though, to adjust for my poor shooting(I pull to the left a bit. The gun will be my truck gun, hiking bear defense, and all around grab and go for plinking, and small to medium game. Will probably zero at 50 yards, and 75 to 85 ish is prob the max I'd want to shoot it at. I don't really need oodles of elevation like the williams for this gun. Like I said, the williams 5D is great, but I wonder what else is out there, and what ya'll like on your 94AEs. So, I'd like to ditch the stock sights on the 94AE trapper(.45Colt) I have and see how it does. 10 times better than I need it for moose huntin(main function of the rifle) and a lot of fun at the range. I have the williams 5D on my pre AE Win 94(30-30) And love it! With the stock front sight, I can see well enough to get 2" groups at 100 yards. Just wondering what my options are for aperture sight on a Win94AE?
